Outreach - The Great Commission

Local outreach is a real passion for us. We believe that the goal of our outreach is to show people the true love of God and the kindness of Jesus. The world is full of good people who do good things for the sake of being good - a cold coke on a street corner, a free car wash, soap at the laundry mat - but ,  Jesus has called us to a higher place- to offer the ministry of reconciliation through relationship! Below you'll find  a list of the places we have been called to as part of the Great Commision.

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Serving a home cooked country breakfast from 9am to 9:45 Sunday Mornings. This Free meal is open to our neighbors, guests and members. Volunteers are always needed. See  Peggy or Dawn

Food Trucks

Provided by Feeding America - Food Trucks are mobile pantry's that are scheduled  and come to the Vineyard and lots of other locations that provide a wide variety of foods including fruits and veggies and are distributed free of charge.
Our first food truck in 2007 at the wedding of Pator Kyle and Cristine was ordained by God and we have felt the commission to reach the community with this ever since. Food Truck schedules can be picked up at he information center or by clicking here

Food Box Give-Aways

Food Box Give-Aways are fun because we gather together to seek the Lord, ask him to show us in picture or word who he would like to minister to and then we go out with our "clues" in our neighborhood. It has been amazing to see what God has done in this ministry and the people are blown away when we tell them that God was looking for them! These boxes are prepackaged at Feeding America and contain about thirty pounds of non perishable foods.
Through the generous donations of people and companies in our community who give directly to our account with Feeding America, we can provide 30 boxes a month of free food to our neighbors!

Benevolence Pantry

This pantry is located in the church building and is accessable by our members. We feel like it would be irresponsible to provide food boxes, and food trucks for the community but have our own members in need of groceries!

Mclaughlin Neighborhood Christmas Store

The neighborhood Christmas store allows us to help empower our neighbors and join hands with New Life Church and the McLaughlin Neighborhood Association. The store is available to people living in the neighborhood who would like a help-up not a hand out. Gifts of new toys for children can be purchased at a fraction of the original store price during the Christmas Season.

 Angel Tree Ministries
For kids who have a parent incarcerated, Christmas can be a sad or confusing time of year. We help fill the gap between parent and child by helping the parent provide gifts for their children.
